Can't wait to read that book and go on another walk with you and Sheldon in February!

Marlena- Thanks for sharing this piece and reflection on nature's impact on our being. As someone who also didn't grow up in the US, I can relate to your writing and appreciate its breadth.

Thalia, thank you for finding me and reading my work. I gravitate to people who've lived in different worlds. There's an added perspective, quite often, that is very exciting.

Hi Marlena, reading your essay here has a calming effect on me. I am inspired to hear how having a pup/dog can be so grounding--something I have thought about but couldn't execute because of restrictions by the landlord. One day, perhaps!

Thanks for the introduction to these two books, which sound intriguing to me. I'll add them to my TBR list. I look forward to supporting and inspiring each other through our multi-cultural perspectives.

What a beautiful letter, Marlena. I slowed down when reading it and appreciated the little dog at my side a bit more, for what you said about having a canine in the family is absolutely true. Orbital intrigues me, but The Buddha in the Attic is the one I am going to have to read. xxx

Hi Marlena.

Happy New Year. Your first entry, about the woods near your son’s home, was so lovely. I could feel myself relax with deep breaths as I read. Thank you.
